From July 9 to August 29, 2010  in collaboration with the Summer Festival, Lucca will host the exhibition THE IMAGE OF SOUND: five exhibitions of contemporary art.

The 16th century Villa Bottini hosts an exhibition divided into thematic sections, according to the different styles of artists / musicians invited to participate with their works: photographs, drawings, paintings and installations.

RECKLESS ROAD -  Villa Bottini
A collection of photos taken by Marc Canter during the tour of the Guns Roses of their  first album "Appetite for Destruction" .

LOVE ME FENDER-  Casermetta of the National Museum of Villa Guinigi.
After being presented to the Museum of Music in Bologna and at the Music Italy Show, the exhibition dedicated to the myth of the Fender guitar moves in Villa Guinigi with a new layout .

WONDERFUL TONIGHT - Galleria Numero 38
Photos of the English model and  former wife of both George Harrison and Eric Clapton (she was the inspiration for love songs written by both musicians, Harrison's "Something" and Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight")a nd  photos of  the legendary journey to India by the Beatles, shots of Jeff Beck, Rolling Stones and other protagonists of the contemporary rock scene.
